What Happens at Church

What to expect when you visit C3

We love to have visitors attend a service here at C3 Church Hobart.

Our 10:00am service runs for about one and half hours and offers a full kids program.  When you arrive at the church building, you will meet one of our welcomers at the front door who will give you an information pack and they can answer any questions you may have. They can also show you through to the auditorium or introduce you to the people running the day’s children’s program (see below for more information).

During our services you can expect live music where we worship God, an opportunity to connect with God through prayer and reflection, a chance to give if you would like to and a life-related message from the Bible.  We do not expect new people to participate in any part of the service that they are not comfortable doing so, and therefore feel free to just come along and observe.

At the end of each Service, there is usually an opportunity to receive prayer.  If you have any need, we would love to pray with you, so please make yourself known.

After the service, please make sure you hang around our café and atrium area as we’d love to meet you and get to know you.

For those with kids

For those with babies under 1, there is a Parent Room available to take babies into if you would like to feed them or if they are generally being fussy.  This room has a live TV feed of the service, so you can still watch the service.  Of course babies are also very welcome to be in the service.  Some parents find that the darker area at the back of the auditorium is a handy place to get babies to sleep.

For kids between 1 – 12 years old, we have a program called “C3 Kids”.  If you have kids wishing to attend C3 Kids you can locate the registration table in the foyer as you arrive.  The people at the registration desk can answer any questions you may have, and you can also visit the C3 Kids web page by clicking here.  The kids join with the adults in the first part of the service, and then leave for their classes during a short interval after the worship (parents are welcome to go with their children if they would like to). Parents can collect their children from their program after the service is finished.  Kids are also welcome to stay in the service if they prefer.
