Sunday Programs

We love to run exciting kids programs during some our services, for children aged around 18 months to 12 years old! You can find them having lots of fun playing games, listening to stories, drawing, doing craft, singing songs, and learning more about how much God loves them! If it's your first time visiting a service, just let one of our hosts at the door know and they will gladly introduce you to one of our C3 Kids team leaders who can answer any questions you may have.

For parents with babies/infants, we have a Parents Room available, where you can tune in to the service in a Bub friendly space (10am).

FAQ

What Kids programs do you offer?

Our C3Kids programs are for children from age 1 through to Year 6:

Discoverers: Ages 1 (from walkers) to pre-kinder (up to 4)

Adventurers: Kinder to grade 1

Conquerors: Grade 2 to grade 6

What will my child be learning?

We run programs throughout the school term, ranging from a full series that may run throughout the term, to shorter 4-6 week series. For more information on the current program that is being taught, feel free to email us at c3kids@c3hobart.org.au to get more details.

Can my kids stay together in the same age group in kids church?

We appreciate your desire to keep your children together. However, based on our experience, we have found that children tend to thrive and enjoy their time more when they are placed in age-appropriate groups. Our team has designed specific lessons for each age group, and introducing children from outside these age brackets may impact the effectiveness of the lessons. Our utmost priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care, and we are committed to providing extra support to help your child feel calm and settled if they experience any anxiety.

How does your check in and check out process work?

When you arrive, our friendly C3Kids welcomer will be available to assist you in checking in your child. If it is your first time, you will be asked to fill out a visitor form that will provide us with the appropriate information. Once you decide to make C3 Hobart your home church, you will be able to sign in electronically upon arrival, where a sticker will be provided for your child to wear and a matching receipt sticker that you as the parent/guardian will need to present when you pick up your child.

What are your procedures for keeping children safe and accounted for?

The C3 Hobart Safe Church framework is designed to ensure the safety of individuals under 18 who attend our programs, as well as those in leadership positions and serving on teams. All team members are required to possess a registered Working with Vulnerable People registration card issued by Services Tasmania. Additionally, all team members must undergo safe church training and adhere to C3 Hobart code of conduct, which must be signed before joining the team.

What is your policy regarding photography and media?

Only C3 Photography team and C3 Church staff are allowed to photograph children in kids’ services. These images can be used on official C3 social media platforms only with parent/guardian approval. If you prefer your child not to be photographed, please ensure you have ticked this option on the visitor form when first registering (or let the welcomer at the sign-in desk know when you arrive to check in your child).
