Vision Builders is all about coming together as a church community to consider how we can financially sow into our vision: Our vision is to reach people on a journey to faith and build strong followers of Christ. This program equips us to step out and be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and beyond.
The philosophy of Vision Builders is equal sacrifice, not equal giving. To sacrifice means to be willing to give the best you can for a greater purpose. Whilst we cannot all give the same amount, we can all play a significant part in sacrificing for what we believe in.
Giving is certainly not compulsory and there are no minimum requirements, however being involved in some way, shape or form makes a huge difference in the big picture.
If you'd like to contribute to Vision Builders, we ask that you prayerfully consider the amount to give. Some people like to make a one-off donation, while others pledge an amount that they pay in instalments during the year.
As a church, our board stewards the blessings that God so generously provides. Full transparency to our members of how much money is given, and where it goes, is important to us. We’ll be giving a financial snapshot during our services in June, and you can also make an appointment to view the audited church accounts at the office at any time.
Each year we cast vision for goals & initiatives that our Vision Builders program will be supporting in the coming year.
This year, we are focusing on three main areas (which you can read about in the booklet above):
Expanding the impact of our C3 Cares program
Starting to build our permanent home in the Huon Valley
Thanking God as we pay off our South Hobart building loan
If you'd like to be involved in Vision Builders, we encourage you to prayerfully consider an amount to give. Some people like to make a one-off donation, while others pledge an amount that they pay in instalments over the coming 12 month period.
You can fill out a pledge form (button above) or use a physical pledge card at any of our services.
To give your contributions with cash, cheque, or credit card, head to the Vision Builders station during the service to enclose your contribution in an envelope. You can also give using direct deposit at any time by using the bank details below.
By paying off and closing the loan on our South Hobart building, we also said goodbye to our tax-deductibility status for giving into Vision Builders 1.
However, monies that were given before June 30th 2024 still received a tax deduction.
