What is it?
Sound
Everything that people hear at C3 Hobart runs through our Sound Team. They are the ones who ensure the music, messages and everything in between makes it safely into our ears. Their purpose is to work with the Worship Team and Communicators to ensure that the entire church experience has high-quality sound that supports the vision of C3 Hobart.
Lights
The lighting team play a significant role in the feel and vibe of our worship experience. Through lighting and visual effects they aim to create a comfortable distraction free environment for everyone in attendance. This is a great team for creative’s and those who like working with colours.
Visual Media
Our screens are most likely the most obvious things that people see when they enter our church auditorium. From visual effect, important church information, lyrics for the worship service to Bible verses throughout the service, overheads is a fantastic way to make a big impact on the entire service in a fairly simple way.
Camera Operator
This operator provides the live-feed to the big screens! They require steady hands, a keen eye, and comfortability standing on a small platform.
Media Director
This person mixes the live camera feeds and the graphics into what we see on the big screens! They ensure that everyone can see what is happening during the service.
FAQs

We usually roster people on for once every month, but we are super flexible to work with you to find a frequency that suits.
We also have a Wednesday service if you are available to be part of this team, to help with visual media and sound!

This depends on which service you’d like to serve at (and you can mix it up across different services if you’d like to!)
South Hobart: This depends on the role, some people arrive approx. 2hrs before the service starts, to do some setup and support the band during their rehearsal. Other roles are only needed 45mins before the service starts, to be part of the pre-service meeting. There is also a rehearsal on the Wednesday night before the Sunday service that includes some of the Production Team roles.
Huon Valley: Approx 1.5hrs before the services starts, to help set up sound gear and support the band in their sound check & rehearsal.
C3 Wednesdays: Being available from 11am-1pm on the day, to help set up, support the band in their sound check & rehearsal, and sticking around to pack up.
